Oil India Limited (OIL) has issued notification for the recruitment of Diploma apprentices. The company is recruiting apprentices for its production and exploration areas in the districts of Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Sivasagar and Charaideo in Assam and Changlang district in Arunachal Pradesh. The candidates need to note that a total of 146 vacancies in various Engineering streams such as Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication, Instrumentation and Mechanical will be filled via this drive.  The interested and eligible candidates can apply online on the Career section of the official website of OIL at oil-india.com. The last date to apply is December 9, 2021.

Qualifications:-

1. For Chemical Engineering:  Passed 03 (three) years Diploma in Chemical Engineering from a Government Recognized University/Board/Institute. Must have passed Class 10 from a Government Recognized Board.

2. For Civil Engineering:  Passed 03 (three) years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a Government Recognized University/Board/Institute. Must have passed Class 10 from a Government Recognized Board. 

3. For Computer Science and Engineering:   Passed 03 (three) years Diploma in Computer Engineering from a Government Recognized University/Board/Institute. Must have passed Class 10 from a Government Recognized Board.

4. For Electrical Engineering:
 (i) Passed 03 (three) years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a Government Recognized University/Board/Institute. Must have passed Class 10 from a Government Recognized Board. 
(ii) Must possess a valid Electrical Supervisor's Certificate of Competency [minimum parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5(a) & 9(a)] issued by Electrical Licensing Board, Government of Assam. However, candidates who are unable to obtain the abovementioned Electrical Supervisor's Certificate of Competency as the licensing exams are not held due to the COVID-19 pandemic can also apply. The candidates who qualify in the Computer Based Test (CBT) will have to produce the valid Electrical Supervisor's Certificate of Competency [minimum parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5(a) & 9(a)] subsequently as would be notified at the appropriate time.

5. For Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering:  Passed 03 (three) years Diploma in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from a Government Recognized University/Board/Institute. Must have passed Class 10 from a Government Recognized Board.

6. For Instrumentation Technology:  Passed 03 (three) years Diploma in Instrumentation Technology from a Government Recognized University/Board/Institute. Must have passed Class 10 from a Government Recognized Board.

7. For Mechanical Engineering:  Passed 03 (three) years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a Government Recognized University/Board/Institute. Must have passed Class 10 from a Government Recognized Board.

 Pay Salary:-

Candidates will be paid emolument on the scale of Rs. 37,500 - 1.45,000 per month.

Eligibility Criteria:-

Selection Process:-

The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of a computer-based test (CBT) and a final merit list.
