Indian Space Research Organisation

The Indian Space Research Organisation is the national space agency of the Indian Government of India. It operates under the Department of Space and directly overseen by the prime minister of India while the chairman of ISRO acts as the executive of DOS as well. Founded on 15 August 1969 by Vikram Sarabhai, and its headquarters is in Bengaluru.
